Welcome!

Hi friends! Thanks for visiting my blog! I’m an educator, speech language pathologist,  and founder of Brighter Days Center. I am passionate about music, children and language.  I love teaching and sharing the benefits of arts for people of all ages.

I believe life is a journey and mine is a crazy one 🙂  I am a work in progress, saved by grace. So I’m honored that you are here; grab your cup of coffee, tea, water or anything  and hang out!

Life is a journey… One day…

God said to me, “Let us go to the the other side…”

So here I am… blessed to be in the boat with Jesus….

It’s the only way I could travel to the other side. Life is just sweeter when you live in His presence.  I know I can’t get through life, survive the storms and safely arrive on the other side without Jesus!

God has been so good to me, He has pursued me, sustained me and held on to me when I wasn’t strong enough to hold on to Him.

My life is one that is full of adventures and never dull for sure!

I came to America when I was sixteen years old as an exchange student. Then God called me to serve as a Christian Education Director for an International Church in the Philippines and attended a seminary.  I also have a diploma in Public Relation and Marketing and used to work for my dad’s printing & publishing company. Low and behold, God called me back to live in America and specifically called me to become a Speech Language Pathologist. I am currently working on my Ph.D in Speech and Hearing Science and work as a  faculty at a Christian University.

I am addicted to school, a life-long learner and a book-worm! I believe when you stop learning… You will stop knowing!

I have been married to my husband for 21 years. We have been through a lot together as a couple. Marriage is a hard work that takes intentional effort, unwavering commitment and total dependence on God!

We have been blessed with three children! My oldest son is a junior this year, my middle son and youngest daughter are in high school.

Our family loves music, theater, good meals and fun fellowships with friends…
